Harmonics Psychology

Life in Harmony

Clinical Psychology for change, trauma and becoming.

Specialist psychological care for adolescents and women navigating trauma and significant developmental and reproductive transitions.

There are times in life when the ways we have understood ourselves no longer quite fit. Adolescence, reproductive experiences, motherhood, trauma, relationship change and midlife can bring profound shifts in identity, relationships and our experience of ourselves.

Harmonics offers compassionate, evidence-informed psychological care while making space for the deeper dimensions of psychological life — embodiment, relationship, meaning, intuition and the process of becoming more fully ourselves.

Dr Jackie Cesareo, Clinical Psychologist, Harmonics Clinical Psychology

Hello, I’m Jackie

I am a Registered Clinical Psychologist with a longstanding interest in the ways we grow, adapt and become through periods of change.

My background is grounded in the scientist-practitioner tradition, with particular experience in adolescence, parenting and trauma. My work now extends into reproductive and maternal mental health and women’s life transitions, while increasingly drawing on depth psychology, embodied experience and creative ways of understanding ourselves.

I approach therapy from a place of empathy, curiosity, connection and appreciation for the knowledge, skills and experience of each person as the author and narrator of their life. I offer a thoughtful, collaborative space where psychological science and the deeper experience of being human can sit alongside one another.

Areas of practice::

Adolescence and emerging adulthood

Identity, emotional wellbeing, trauma, relationships and developmental transitions

Reproductive and maternal mental health

Fertility challenges, IVF, reproductive loss. pregnancy and postpartum adjustment, birth trauma, mattrescence and motherhood

Women’s life transitions

Trauma, identity, relationships, perimenopause, menopause, midlife

How I work:

My approach is integrative and responsive to the individual rather than defined by a single therapeutic model. My work draws upon contemporary trauma psychology, parts-based, attachment and relational approaches, embodied ways of working, and contemplative and creative practices.

Increasingly, my work is also informed by depth psychology and an interest in how therapy can support not only symptom reduction, but the deeper process of becoming more fully ourselves.
